Dr. Daniel Baute, PT, DPT, OCS is the owner and operator of Recovery Dry Needling and Physical Therapy, LLC. Dan received his bachelors from the University of Cincinnati in 2009 in Exercise Science with a focus in Sports and Biomechanics. He then went on to receive his doctorate in Physical Therapy at Mount St. Joseph University in 2012. For over a decade Dan has worked for the Cincinnati VA Medical Center (CVAMC) rehabilitating Veteran’s. Dan himself is a Veteran of the Marine Corps which he served in from 2002-2008. Dan is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and serves as the Orthopedic PT residency director at the CVAMC. Dan’s continuing education has focused on the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries. He is level 1 and level 2 certified in dry needling through the Veteran’s Health Administration and Department of Defense. Over the years dry needling has aided Dan in returning patients back to previous function and back to the recreational activities they enjoy. Dan is the lead instructor in dry needling at the CVAMC. Dan formed Recovery Dry Needling and Physical Therapy, LLC in 2022 with the hopes of expanding dry needling to the community and returning patients to what they love to do. Dan lives in Kenwood with his wife, Molly, and his children William, Rowan and Hazel. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exercising and spending time in the outdoors.
Dr. Joseph Molek, PT, DPT, OCS is the owner and operator of Proformance Dry Needling & Physical Therapy, LLC. Joe obtained his bachelor’s from Wheeling Jesuit University in Athletic Training in 2015, gaining experience with prevention and management of athletic injuries at the high school and collegiate levels prior to receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy from his alma mater in 2018. Matriculating from the Orthopedic PT residency in 2020, Joe is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and currently serves as Co-director of the Orthopedic PT residency at CVAMC alongside Daniel. He is level 1 and level 2 certified through the Department of Defense and the Veteran’s Health Administration and assists with instruction of dry needling at CVAMC. His other areas of clinical practice include emergency room management of musculoskeletal pathology and time in the outpatient clinic with an emphasis on helping Veterans meet occupational demands, return to activities of enjoyment, and improving quality of life through integrated self-care management. Joe partnered with Daniel in 2024 in hopes of expanding their practice to improve access to appropriate diagnosis, education, and clinically proven treatment options to promote health and wellness in their community. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, exercise, and is a motorcycle enthusiast.
